Grinding my sunspear/lightbringer on my sin in an ugly worm was the worst. I hope we get double greens drop rate this weekend i'm working on my elite cap skill title.

Hrrmn. Will probably only have time for a wurm/chest run on each of my characters, but my Mesmer is getting closish to maxing Lightbringer. A good vanquish or two should go a long way towards making sure she gets there by the time she turns in her Hard Mode Night Falls book.

With the rewards for vanquishing and turning in nm/hm books for beating Nightfall, all things I'm planning on doing anyways, this weekend means nothing to me.

Why would Anet limit this solo/grinding type activities to only weekends? I suggest Anet should extend the window for the whole week. The weekend activities should lbe around giving player more time and opportunities to get involve in organised guild events and more sociable group based events e.g. Z-quests for big Dungeons.

For people like myself, who don't care to go crazy about the high end spend your entire life in guild wars type of farming, there is no point in going to the DoA. So, since I maxed the titles on my dervish months back, this weekend means nothing to me.

I realize that guild wars still operates because of such devoted players, but that ain't me.

The double SS point weekends should just be made in Luxon/Kurzick or EOTN weekends.
My para got max SS rank before completing Nightfall. I just switched to HM while playing the game, and I VQed as I was doing quests that advanced the storyline.

There is no way in hell that this could happen with the Luxon/EOTN titles. Those titles need to be grinded so anything that reduces that should be heavily pushed!

So is the doubling just for bounties, or also for vanquish / quest / mission rewards? Only bounties are specifically mentioned, so it's a bit confusing.

I'm 2700 points from maxing LB on my Ranger with 4 Vaqs to go in Elona, 3 of which have shrines for LB and 2 of which reward LB points when complete so I'm going to assume that between the Vaqs and the weekend bonus I'll finnally get that title maxed and complete my Elona Vaq title at the same time.

If I can find the time to play this weekend that is.

Interesting, this post has gone untouched for over 2 days. So y'all have maxed SS & LB already??

I'd appreciate it if someone can clarify which SS/LB points will be doubled, since ANet's wording is vague and I was away from GW last time they had this. It's clear that bounties are doubled. But what about vanquish, quest, and mission rewards?

I dont think quest/mission rewards have ever been doubled.

Vanquish rewards certainly aren't, which seems completely stupid. But regular killing is.

I know i shouldn't ask, but what is the best way to exploit the Sunspear bonus? I want to get to rank 8, Never Rampage Alone gets +3 health regen then. I just need another 5k Sunspear points.
